We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Control Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling project costs, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule. The Cost Control Engineer will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate cost estimates, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures.

**Key Responsibilities: **


  • Develop and maintain project cost control systems, including budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
  • Analyze project costs and variances, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with project teams to establish cost control procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and present regular cost reports to management, highlighting key financial metrics and project performance.
  • Monitor and track project expenditures, ensuring that all costs are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential cost overruns, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents and cost estimates for new projects.
  • Support project managers in decision-making by providing financial analysis and cost-related information.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost-related issues and strategies.
**Requirements: **


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control or project management within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cost control methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction regulations and standards is preferred.
  • Professional certification (e.g., Certified Cost Engineer (CCE), Project Management Professional (PMP)) is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
